To support the delivery of Microsoft-powered AI features, Planview has partnered with Microsoft Azure as a sub-processor. Microsoft-powered AI features are designed to enhance user experience and streamline project and portfolio management workflows by enabling real-time communication and AI-augmented interactions directly within or in connection with Planview ProjectAdvantage and Planview KeyedIn.

Please note that these features are not active by default; instead, you can reach out to your Planview Account Manager for activation and/or download the relevant app from the Microsoft Marketplace, as applicable. Once enabled, these features allow users to communicate via an in-product embedded Microsoft Teams chat; receive automated notification reminders in Microsoft Teams; read and write timesheet, work items, and other data from Planview ProjectAdvantage and Planview KeyedIn via a Microsoft Teams AI chatbot; prompt built-in GenAI functions to assist with tasks such as the creation of a project plan or mapping of risks; and more – all supported by the Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

Subject to this update, Planview has also taken steps to improve how we communicate sub-processor information across all Planview products. Microsoft Azure, together with Google (a Planview ProjectAdvantage sub-processor which provides the possibility to capture and report on usage and performance analytics), Pendo (a Planview KeyedIn sub-processor providing application usage analytics), and IPLabel (a Planview® One2Team sub-processor used for application usage tracking) are now listed on our centralized Sub-Processor webpage alongside those for all other Planview solutions. Going forward, any intended changes concerning the addition and/or replacement of sub-processors will be communicated via the Planview Status website, to which Planview customers can subscribe for updates. These updates reflect our ongoing efforts to maintain consistency across all Planview offerings when it comes to data privacy and protection, and ensure that all customers benefit from the same level of transparency regardless of which Planview solution they use.
