We are investigating an issue following the recent PBIRS update that is causing a validation error when uploading Power BI (.pbix) files through the Reporting Content Management page. The upload status screen is currently displaying an “Unknown error” message.
We are actively investigating the issue and will provide another update as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience.

On Monday, August 17th, from 0500 to 0700 CDT (2000 to 2200 AEST), the Cloud Operations team will be applying updates to the APAC - Portfolios/EA Sydney Power BI Report Server farm.

During this time all reporting will be unavailable.

We will be updating to the January 2026 version of Microsoft Power BI Report Server.

If you do experience any issues with existing reports please submit a case via https://support.planview.com.
