Enhanced cloud security capabilities, semantic data layer improvements, and regional updates at Planview

Informação

Planview is pleased to inform you of important updates that further strengthen our security posture and enhance our data fabric capabilities, while maintaining our commitment to transparency and strong data privacy and security across all Planview solutions.

To provide advanced cloud security monitoring and threat detection, Planview will be partnering with Sweet Security as a new sub-processor. Sweet Security is a runtime-powered cloud native application protection platform (CNAPP) that provides continuous, real-time visibility across applications, workloads, and cloud infrastructure, enabling Planview to detect genuine threats with high accuracy while maintaining minimal false positives. To ensure robust protection while respecting privacy and confidentiality, Sweet Security focuses on monitoring activity patterns; only limited personal data (such as names, email addresses, usernames, IP addresses, and IT system information) is processed, on a sampled basis and only when triggered for security investigations.

Additionally, to enhance our unified Data Fabric with advanced semantic capabilities, we are also adding Timbr.ai as a new sub-processor. Timbr.ai will provide an ontology-based semantic layer that will improve data connectivity and insights within the Planview Data Fabric. Importantly, this sub-processor will be fully hosted and operated by Planview within our own AWS cloud infrastructure, with no external SaaS components or data transferred outside the Planview environment. As such, no customer data will be transmitted to or accessible by Timbr.ai as a service provider – all data processing and storage will occur entirely within Planview’s AWS environment to provide the semantic layer functionality, subject to our existing security controls and data residency commitments.

As for regional updates, we have expanded our AWS service locations to include the United Arab Emirates (UAE), so we can better serve customers in the APAC and Middle East region. This news led to the renaming of our sub-processor service regions for greater accuracy: “EMEA” is now “Europe, Africa and Israel,” “APAC” is now “APAC and Middle East,” and “North America” is now “Americas.”

Finally, please note that we have updated the information about Planview Group sub-processors providing support services due to corporate restructuring – this does not, however, carry any material impacts or changes for the scope of the associated personal data processing.

For more information about these changes, please review Planview’s Sub-Processor webpage or, if you have any questions or would like to know more, please contact us at privacy@planview.com. We also encourage you to subscribe to Planview’s Status website so you can stay informed about sub-processor updates and any other material changes to our data processing operations.

We appreciate your continued partnership as we work together to deliver secure, innovative solutions for the digital future of connected work!
