We are proud to bring you some exciting updates in our mission to build the digital future of connected work by delivering powerful new generative AI capabilities, while remaining committed to transparency and strong data privacy and security across all Planview solutions.

To provide generative AI-powered features and advanced reporting, Planview will be partnering with Snowflake as a new sub-processor. Snowflake will enable the secure utilization of data from our products (including limited personal data, such as names and email addresses) to build Planview’s unified data fabric, thus supporting transformative capabilities such as Planview Anviᵀᴹ – your new generative AI for connected work – and the Planview Connected Work Graph – a technology allowing you to visualize complex dependencies, identify bottlenecks, and take quick action on them. All data is carefully partitioned or tagged to respect contractual requirements for segregation and is hosted regionally to comply with applicable data hosting requirements.

Furthering our commitments to innovation, we are also continuing to enhance our conversational generative AI experience by replacing Microsoft Azure with AWS Bedrock as our LLM provider. This means that Planview is now leveraging Anthropic and AWS Nova models accessed via AWS Bedrock for Planview Anvi conversational abilities, delivering valuable insights, recommendations, and actions while maintaining strong privacy safeguards.

Finally, we have updated hosting locations for certain sub-processors to better align with regional requirements. The sub-processor Pendo is now also hosted in Australia for certain APAC customers, and PaloAlto hosting has moved to the United States instead of the EU for North America customers.
