We would like to inform you about an upcoming Portfolios maintenance activity schedule for our FTP services.

Date: August 14th
Start Time: 12:00 PM CDT
End Time: 3:00 PM CDT
Expected Downtime: 3 hours

During the maintenance window, ftp.planview.com and ftp-us.pvlcoud.com will be unavailable as we transition Portfolios FTP services to AWS. Please subscribe to https://status.planview.com for both Austin and Oregon for periodic notifications.

We will assign new IP addresses to our FTP URLs. If you are whitelisting using the existing IP addresses, make sure to update your internal whitelisting rules with the new IP addresses.

NEW IP ADDRESSES
ftp.planview.com 35.165.218.122
ftp-us.pvcloud.com 44.232.219.208

FAQ

Q: Will the URL/DNS aliases change?
A: No, ftp.planview.com and ftp-us.pvcloud.com will continue to work post migration.

Q: Will I need to update my whitelisting?
A: Possible, if your integration uses the FTP DNS alias, no changes are necessary. If the integration uses an IP address, you will need to change your whitelist. New IP addresses are listed above. We strongly recommend that you change the integration to use DNS.

Q: Will this change impact my Report Subscriptions?
A: No, report subscriptions will continue to function.

Q: We have built our own integrations using Portfolios web services / APIs. What will be the impact on these?
A: We anticipate no impact to the Portfolios APIs.

Q: We have custom integrations that have been developed for us by the Professional Services team. How will these be impacted by the FTP service migration?
A: Integrations that use the FTP service with an IP address will need to be changed. Planview may require assistance to ensure that the integrations are still working as planned, as the Planview team may not have access to evaluate some parts of customer integrations.

Q: We have Job Streams that call our integrations, is there any impact?
A: Only jobs streams that are pushing or pulling files to FTP, sFTP or HTTPS, during the maintenance window will be impacted. We recommend that customers stop any job stream that meets these criteria.

Q: How do I handle unexpected issues?
A: If you do experience an issue, please open a support case, providing the FTP URL you are accessing, ftp.planview.com or ftp-us.pvcloud.com.

Q: What if I experience an issue?
